The Board of Directors of PNME would like to ask you to consider becoming a Pillar of Support for PNME. It is because of support like yours that PNME can continue to bring to the larger interfaith community a deep, rich opportunity for transformation and insight through conversation and conferencing. And only because of sponsorships like yours can we continue to carry out the planning and thorough preparation which has always been at the core of our conferencing activities and our mission since 1913: to gather together to learn from each other about living our faith in a dynamic and volatile world, and to sponsor service and learning opportunities around the globe. An example of this is our new initiative with churches and ministries in Latin America, which will be the focus of our 2009 summer conference.
The Pacific Network for Mission Education (PNME) is a Christian ecumenical organization dedicated to the support of the work of missionaries around the world. PNME is the inheritor of the 94-year tradition of the Pacific Southwest Conference on World Christian Mission, offering congregational education on global mission issues, and the opportunity for church members to support mission work around the world with financial and material support and by providing opportunities for direct, hands-on participation in on-going projects.
PNME is developing partnerships with mission organizations, NGO's and churches in Asia and Latin America, and sponsors conferences and unique travel opportunities for service and learning.  Conference topics range from globalization and economic justice to studies of the churches in Latin America and Asia through cross-cultural education. PNME provides an opportunity to learn about and celebrate the work of ministries and faith communities around the world.
PNME is broadly ecumenical, with support from members of the United Methodist Church, Presbyterian Church, USA, Disciples, Lutherans (ELCA), American Baptists, Roman Catholics and other denominations. PNME also cultivates interfaith dialogue on issues of universal concern with Islamic, Jewish, Sikh, Hindu, Buddhist, and other faith traditions.
